When you leave your dog in the care of others, you’re trusting family with that person. Why not treat the process of finding a caretaker the same as finding a babysitter? I have a clear background report available on Rover, and a stellar history working with dogs. Ask me for my references!

When I walk into an initial Meet & Greet, I’m prepared to handle anything. I have experience with dog on dog aggression, human aggression, and my favorite cases being the scared and anxious pooches that just need a little help getting out of their shell. I’m here for your pet, and their physical and emotional well-being is of my utmost importance. Let me help you understand your pet through the power of play!

I want to be up front with this statement and say NO, I am not a trainer. Consider me more of a dog linguist or therapist, my goal is to get you understanding your dog better in a day to day life!
Understanding your partner is the base of any symbiotic relationship, and the same goes for understanding your dog. In order to have a mutually beneficial relationship, communication must be at it's best, and it can help you understand and more accurately approach and manage day-to-day confusion, frustration, and mishaps.
No, I am not veterinary certified. I have learned through personal experience, a natural curiosity for the cognitive ability of dogs, literature, and free to the public college courses on dog emotion and cognition. I am Red Cross Dog & Cat First Response certified, and have experience handling dogs with special needs.
I will accept all behavior problems within reason; if your pooch shows signs of human aggression I ask that you be up front and we can arrange a free meet & greet to ensure I am the right match. I have experience handling dogs with bite histories and aggression problems, so it's not a deal breaker for me, though public activities may be restricted or require a muzzle. And of course, dogs with no foreseeable problems are completely welcome as well
I require your pooch to be up to date on the following vaccinations and medications:
Rabies
Canine Distemper
Parvovirus
Canine Hepatitis
Bordatella
Leptospirosis (if going on outings)
Flea, Tick, & Worm protection
All documentation will be required before or upon first service date.
I serve all of Clay County without a travel fee. I will travel into Central/North Jacksonville and St. Augustine for a travel fee of $5 every 10 miles outside Clay County lines. If your house is not farther than 10 miles you are charged the base $5 fee.
Short answer, pretty much anyone!
My services are intended for people with both behaviorally problematic and behaviorally mannered dogs, and used as either a regular walking/play/adventure service or therapeutic lessons with parents on understanding your pooch. You may use my services while on vacation, at work, out for the night, or simply if you’d like to give your pooch a treat!
